Lovin (at time of writing) was manager of manpower planning and management development at the Mercantile Trust Co., St. Louis, MO. Earlier affiliations included Psychological Associates, the Falstaff Brewing Corporation, and Granite City Steel Co., where his responsibilities included training, management development, and personnel administration. He held a BA in economics from Washington University, and grad work in labor & industrial relation at the University of IL.
