This collection of essays by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle covers a variety of topics and is arranged into three sections: I) God, Jesus Christ, and the Spirit; II) The Church: Renewal, and Reception; III) Mission: Theology and Spirituality. There are some subjects that are broad ("The Risky Business of Saying 'God,'" some topical ("The Church's Mission toward Minorities"), "The Renewal That Awaits the Church in Asia").

Because of the level of influence he now has at such a relatively young age, his thoughts on all these topics have an immediacy and relevance for Catholics worldwide. Of course, at the most recent conclave he was regarded as papabile and his charisma and communications abilities were much discussed and admired.
