About the Author:

Barry M. Dank is professor of sociology at California State University, Long Beach. His involvement in the study of sexuality and culture dates to the 1970s. His article "Coming Out in the Gay World" has come to be regarded as a classic in the area of sexual identity development. Most recently he has established the first electronic discussion forum on academic sexual correctness policies. He is the President of the Foundation for the Advancement of Sexual Equity (FASE). Most recently he has established the first electronic discussion forum on academic sexual correctness policies. 

 



Roberto Refinetti is a professional editor, formerly a faculty member at the College of William & Mary and a research biopsychologist with a research program funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health and has published over 100 articles in professional journals. He has been involved in discussions of academic issues since the mid-1980s.
