Here’s a whimsical and cleverly amusing photo collection that plays on the differences between cats and dogs―and just as significant, on differences between cat people and dog people. Dogs will typically come when they are called. Cats are more likely to take a message and get back to you. Dogs await our commands, while cats are quietly amused by our requests. Dogs keep us company, while cats keep us guessing. Dogs capture our hearts, but Cats enchant our souls. Each two-page spread in this charming book presents humorous contrasting portraits of a dog and a cat on facing pages, with photos accompanied by brief but revealing captions. These eye-catching color photos have a great deal to say about the whims and personalities of dogs, of cats, and of the human beings who own them.
