Using ground-breaking modeling, Big Change, Best Path brings unique insights to the dynamics and process of transformational change, understanding success and failure, defining and describing the levers and conditions of change, and the patterns and paths of organizational change.  It shows that a whole new way of managing change is possible, using empirical benchmarking, predictive approaches that highlight the specific actions needed at any point of a change program, and visualization.

Author Warren Parry from Accenture Strategy challenges many of the myths of change management and the dynamics of how organizations respond to change, clearly showing common pitfalls and misunderstandings.  This book provides a new, more analytical way for driving successful change, and presents a vision for the future of how organizations can become more agile and resilient.

Descripción Kogan Page. Paperback. Estado de conservación: New. Paperback. 272 pages. Large scale change programs are constantly underway in most organizations, but change can take longer, cost more or fail to deliver promised improvements. Guesswork and available measurement tools dont show the progress of change early enough or accurately enough to enable leaders to take the actions required to keep change on track. Supported by 10 years of change management research, this book addresses change from a new direction, emphasizing how organizations behave as complex systems. Change Track shows that change is non-linear, and it explains how to effectively manage change and minimize the risk that comes with it. Change experts Parry and Cheese suggest a new kind of change management, with empirical benchmarking, predictive approaches that highlight the specific actions needed at any point of a change program, and visualization for senior managers to show how each part of an organization is responding. They also challenge many of the myths of change management and the dynamics of how organizations respond to change, highlighting the common pitfalls and misunderstandings. With insight into the patterns, paths, dynamics and process of organizational change, Change Track provides managers with resources to map and plan their own change journeys and includes access to web tools that measure the effectiveness of their strategies. This practical guide introduces a new, more analytical process for driving successful change and presents a revolutionary vision for the future of how organizations can become more agile and resilient.
