Deleuze: A Philosophy of the Event : Together with, The Vocabulary of Deleuze

This edition makes a new translation of two of François Zourabichvili's most important writings on the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze available in a single volume. 'Deleuze: A Philosophy of the Event' (1994) is an exposition of Deleuze's philosophy as a whole. The complementary Deleuze's Vocabulary (2003) analyses Deleuze's key concepts in a dictionary form. The introduction, by Deleuze experts Gregg Lambert and Daniel W. Smith, explains the key themes and arguments of Zourabichvili's work.

François Zourabichvili (1965-2006) was Senior Lecturer at l'Universite Paul Valery a Montpellier from 1988 to 2001 and programme director at College international de philosophie from 1998 to 2004. Gregg Lambert is Associate Professor of English and Textual Studies at Syracuse University. Daniel W. Smith is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University.
