He is the author of numerous publications on medieval and earlier manuscripts, including "In a Monastery Library," "Flemish Illuminated Manuscripts," and "Illuminating the Renaissance." Kathleen Doyle is curator of illuminated manuscripts at the British Library. Her previous publications include "Bible Manuscripts."
