Dawn has been teaching and advocating for students with disabilities for over 20 years. Her passion stems from personal experience with having to create ways to help her son communicate. Today, she advocates for teachers and programs as the Vice President of Special Education of her teachers' union and is actively involved at the state level. She enjoys mentoring and helping other teachers hone their craft. Collaboration and giving a voice to the voiceless are her mission. She believes all kids are smart and it is an educator's responsibility to tap into that brilliance. A belief in leaving people better than you find them drives her as she works with students and families. In short, life is all about learning.

Michele has dedicated herself to working with children. She holds degrees in Spanish and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She has 22 years of teaching experience working with kids across all grade levels. She has volunteered in her community as a scout leader and a religious education teacher. As a mother of two, she has seen her own children face health challenges that impacted their education. She believes that all kids deserve the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe, nurturing environment where they can reach their full potential.
