An exploration of human biomechanics through the clinical treatment of postural deficiencies in nearly 100,000 patients in both Europe and the United States has led authors, Dr. Andrew Buser, D.C. and Markus Greus, P.T., to develop a revolutionary hypothesis for defining and understanding human postural function. The Postu-re-late is a postulate of human posture, introducing the BuserGreus Institute's cumulative system of testing, diagnosing, and treating postural deficiencies. Learn the basis of pain management and performance enhancement through bodily alignment via the true core, "The Anti-gravity Kinetic Chain." Find out how to use the evaluation of gravity and anti-gravity equilibrium as the basis for function, dysfunction, and compensation in human biomechanics.Discover the BuserGreus Model of postural therapy, their Principles-of-Therapy, Priorities-of-Work, and how to evaluate the kinetic chain. Lastly, the authors describe how this therapeutic model differs from other types of physical and exercise therapy.About the Author:
Dr. Andrew Buser has been in the healthcare field since 1991. He has worked extensively in the field of Physiology and Neuroscience on academic, research and clinical levels alike. After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience, Andrew began his career as an Exercise Therapist at the Egoscue Method Clinic where he assisted in developing their Training and Education Program for practitioners world-wide. He then had the opportunity to consult full-time with Hospitalist Management Resources, LLC to design and manage Hospitalist, Intensivist, Traumatologist and Emergency Department programs within the acute care hospital setting. Additionally, Andrew has worked as a Master Trainer for Reebok where he implemented postural exercise therapy amongst elite military members and athletes. Andrew has since received a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences, for which he is currently undergoing licensure. Graduating Summa Cum Laude and class Valedictorian, Andrew was awarded SCU's prestigious Techniques and Diagnosis Award. He continues to research and integrate new discoveries in physiology and neuroscience into this Postural Exercise Therapy practice and implement them with clients and other practitioners worldwide.
