Reseña del editor:
In the early 1940s, Marco Rivera, a young Cuban American living on the sunny west coast of Florida, has been reluctantly following his older brother, Juan, and his older cousin, Tomas, on a string of robberies. When he accidentally robs the girl he's been falling in love with, he finally realizes a long criminal record won't make him anymore of a man. Seeking manhood, respect, and an escape from a life of crime and poverty, Marco is faced with a choice: continue following his older brother and cousin, committing robberies and getting into fights -- or join a war he knows little about, but one that offers him redemption, honor, and adventure. Marco chooses to enlist as a pilot in the fight against Nazi Germany.
