Sinopsis
This Grade 1 reader tells the benefits of sharing with a friend, such as "All by myself I can plant a flower, but I need a friend to give it to." The repeating beginning phrase of "All by myself" allows the early reader to begin to go from sounding out words to recognizing whole word sounds. The accompanying pictures are beautifully made and support the text. It is a wonderful text for a child learning to read.
