Sinopsis

Completely revised and updated in its Second Edition, Language and Reality provides students, philosophers and cognitive scientists with a lucid and provocative introduction to the philosophy of language. In so doing, the authors address questions of central importance to the philosophy of language, such as: 'What is Language', 'How does it related to the mind?', 'How does it relate to the world?', and 'Should our view of language influence our view of the world?'.
