Gold Medal Award recipient, orthopedic surgeon Bernard Bricot's first book, Total Postural Reprogramming is the most advanced manual written on Posturology, a revolutionary medical modality which aims to correct (1) spinal and postural problems before they deteriorate into the need for surgery and (2) body pain in general. Soundly based in both medical research and decades of clinical experimentation and practice in France and Germany, this book is a must for health professionals whose work touches areas affecting clients' and/or patients' posture -- physicians, physiatrists, podiatrists, dentists, osteopaths, physical therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists specializing in pain management. Using Total Postural Reprogramming as his basic reference handbook, Dr. Bricot has trained over 6,000 health professionals in Europe and in North and South America.

"Just when we thought we knew it all, this fascinating book offers a ground-breaking approach for diagnosing and treating orthopedic and chiropractic disease. Dr. Bricot points to the causative mechanisms that underlie the epidemic of structural pain. By understanding the important influence of the feet and eyes on neuromuscular circuits, his TOTAL POSTURAL REPROGRAMMING offers therapeutic solutions that are both innovative and easily applicable."

"Dr. Bernard Bricot's new research-based insights highlight in a new way the importance of disorders stemming from dysfunctions in the brain postural sensors, namely, the eyes, jaw and feet as prime underlying causes of spinal and joint pain. Dr. Bricot's neurologically-based therapeutic solutions contribute to what has been termed 'the riddle of pain,' and represent a breakthrough whose importance cannot be overstated at this critical time." --
