"It was cold and blustery outside. With bare feet and a simple nightgown, the wind whipped through her gown and chilled her bones. The sleety rain pounded her in the face and drenched her, the wet ground oozed up between her toes. Yet she walked directly into the face of the storm without flinching. She made her way down the pathway of the village and climbed the grassy knoll. Seemingly at the top of the world, she stopped and looked out at the restless lake when a figure in the distance moved towards her. Blinded by the whirlwind of weather, she was not able to make out what the creature was except that it was huge."
