This journal combines an interest in all pastoral matters, practical and theoretical, with international biblical and theological scholarship. It provides a forum for scholarly discussion on biblical issues, both Old and New Testament, and enables busy ministers to keep abreast of scholarship in the biblical field. A focal place in each number is given to "Sermons for the Christian Year", each one composed by a skilled and experienced practitioner of the art of preaching.
