Brenda Marie Wiggins was born in Suffolk, Virginia to David & Mary Wiggins, the only girl out of four children. At the age of two, her family, along with many other Black families from the South, migrated north to Pennsylvania and settled in the industrial town of Pottstown. She attended the Pottstown School District beginning with Jefferson Elementary, Pottstown Junior High, and Senior High. She also had the benefit of attending the John Piersol McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors in June of 1986. Due to employment, she moved to the Norristown area, and not long after moving to Norristown, through the invitation of a wonderful friend, she began attending the Sharon Baptist Church in West Philadelphia. She eventually joined in September of 1988 where she has been a member ever since. She is an employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Her writing career was originally born out of her talent for drawing pictures at the age of three. It wasn't long after she learned her ABCs that she began putting words to her pictures. At the age of six, she created her first story. Since that time, her writings continue to tell a story in the literary areas of song writing, poetry, inspirational evangelistic material, and stories of fiction and nonfiction.Review:
