ROGER L. BRAUER, PhD, is an inductee of the Safety and Health Hall of Fame International and a Fellow of the American Society of Safety Engineers. He has been a professor of safety engineering for twenty years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Brauer is also a former vice president of professional development for the American Society of Safety Engineers, and author of six books and numerous papers.
