LAURENCE A. WOLSEY is Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) at l'Universite Catholique de Louvain at Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He is the author, with George Nemhauser, of Integer and Combinatorial Optimization (Wiley).
