Sinopsis
This reference work, which aims to guide the architect through the preliminary design phase of a building project, has been substantially updated to reflect important changes in major building codes. The second edition reduces complex engineering and building code information to simple, formal and spatial approximations that are readily incorporated into initial design work. It includes enhanced charts and tables, and new structural information on assigning approximate sizes to beams and columns.

Biografía del autor
Joseph Iano is Project Architect with the firm of Stull and Lee, Inc. He has contributed as author and illustrator to numerous architectural reference books, including Fundamentals of Building Construction and Architectural Detailing, both coauthored with Mr. Allen and available from Wiley.
