Owing to the present mode of calculating the revenue from Tea. Tobacco and Cigars. And Wines. It is not possible to give the quantities actually entering into consumption in the Island. As no account is now. Kept at the Custom House oi' the quantities of imperial duty-paid Spirits. Coii'ee. Or Chicory entering the Island. No return as to the latter two can be made, while the figures relating to Spirits show less than the quantity actually consumed in the Island.
