Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the origins and manifestations of the mystical experience in Eastern and Western traditions. Analyzing primary source texts from major religions and philosophies, the author provides insight into the nature of religious experience, demonstrating how its expressions and interpretations vary across cultures. From the mystical traditions of India to Taoist beliefs in China and the teachings of Jesus, the author traces the common thread of transcendence and unity that unites these experiences, revealing their psychological, philosophical, and cultural significance. The book offers a profound understanding of the mystical encounter, illuminating the ways in which it has shaped human thought, culture, and spirituality throughout history. Through the exploration of various mystical traditions, the author argues that the mystical experience is not limited to a particular time or place, but rather represents a universal human capacity for transcendence and connection with the divine.
