In confequence of the merits of the Grammar, as it came, in from the pen of the author, about fifty thonfand copies of the ment, and thirty-five thoufand of the Lar Grammar, annually. The former, in the ihort period 0 eleven years, has pafl'ed through twenty-one editions in En land, and perhaps twice that number in America. The latter, een editions in En land, and twenty-ci' ht in America. Murray's Grammar is adopte in nearly all the Co egos and other Seminaries of education, m both countries, as the standard. Every Englilh Critic 'and Reviewer, 'who has mentxon'ed it, has reprefented it as the bell extant. The celebrated Dr. Buns, and walker, the Lexicographer, (a very experienced teaeber) are among chofe who have the mod: warmly recommended.
