M. P. -a. De Gaspé était fils de M. P.-a. De Gaspé, dont nous reproduisons aussi quelques récits dans ce volume. C'est le seul ouvrage que cet écrivain a laissé, croyons-nous. A l'époque de sa mort, en 1841, M. De Gaspé fils était employé àla législature de la N ou velle cosse.
