Sinopsis
High performance computing is in a confused state as hardware speed gains attentuate and parallelism appears to be the only way to sustain performance as growth. After more than a decade of commercial development, no standard or widely acceptable systems have emerged. This volume defines practical parallelism tests, and suggests how they can be passed by giving specific technical suggestions and outlining policies that should be taken.
