Acerca del autor

Albert Ellis has M.A and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. He is the founder of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), the pioneering form of the modern Cognitive Behavior therapies. He is the president of the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, where he practices individual and group psychotherapy, supervises and trains psychotherapists, and presents many talks and workshops at the Institute and throughout the world. He has published over seven hundred articles and more than sixty books on psychotherapy, marital and family therapy, and sex therapy.

Jerry Wilde earned his bachelor's degree from Luther College and his Ph.D. from Marquette University. He currently serves as an assistant professor of Educational Psychology for Indiana University East. Prior to this appointment, he had ten years of experience counseling children who had emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. He has written twelve books on such topics as psychotherapy with children, parenting, and educational issues. He presents workshops on such subjects as anger management and cognitive-behavior therapy with children and adolescents.
