Reseña del editor:
You’ve been with Smoke and Vicky and Detective Murchee and the crew for The Takedown, Devil’s Insider, Company Men and now More Company Men: Global Dawn. The story begins with Smoke and Vicky spending their honeymoon in the Halston’s Manor on the Western Promenade in Portland, Maine. They are making plans to visit the estate of one of Smoke’s late mega-claimants when the phone rings. On the other end of the line, a worried and weary former Detective Peter Murchee is calling Smoke to see what he knows about his former employer, GreatCo Insurance Company. Since Smoke, Vicky and their friends worked tirelessly to put the murderous company and its Company Men out of business, Smoke is troubled by the question. He is disturbed because he and his friends and even Vicky’s parents came close to losing their lives and the battle when they faced the ruthless A. Nicholas Palmer and his network in the past. He thought The Company and Company Men were behind him and he could enjoy this next phase of his life. Murchee details some recent D.C. activities and mysterious deaths among the White House elite and asks Smoke for his help. Smoke is soon on his way to learn what, if any, involvement The Company Men have in these latest happenings and developments. Vicky uses her legal pull as a former D.A. to track a once-key member of the ADNICK/GreatCo Alliance and soon discovers the existence of the Global Goblins and the fact that The Company was just 'the tip of the iceberg'. If you like murder, mayhem, action, romance and scenes around Maine and the rest of the country, you’ll love this continuation of the previous three books’ adventures. The action goes global in this follow-up thriller.
