This program discusses the various changes in the woman's body that occur during pregnancy, particularly those that may cause distressing symptoms. Nursing interventions that can help alleviate these symptoms are illustrated. It helps nurses distinguish normal changes from those that are abnormal, and the last portion of the program discusses normal prenatal care and the assessments that are essential.
