Slight spotting on top edge of textblock, water staining visible only on the inside of dust-jacket. Near fine. 'Quinx' is the 5th and final volume in The Avignon Quintet. Durrell described these novels as being 'roped together like climber on a rockface, but all independent.' This final book draws the other volumes to a conclusion showing the evolution of the characters. The inscription is on the half title page. Lawrence Durrell signed this book 'with enthusiasm' in 1985.
