The dust jacket is rubbed, chipped & creased with soiling to its rear panel. The spine is faded. xxi & 297 pages. Illustrated with 6 black-and-white plates, including a frontispiece. There is some staining to the bottom edge with tiny stains to the bottom edges of a few pages. Good. "Intimate portraits of the major masters and events of art in our time" [From the dust wrapper copy]. Flanner's subjects are Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse and writer Andre Malraux.

Condición: Good. 1957. No Edition Remarks. 297 pages. No dust jacket. Paper covered boards with cloth to spine. Black and white photographic plates. Pen inscription of Robert Shaw to front free endpaper. Minor water staining, foxing and tanning to pages and plates; text and images unaffected. Much more prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has lighter tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
