Volume IV contains "books" XXI with further memoirs from 1605, to "book" XXVII with the parricide of Henry the Great. 7 1/8" Tall. contemporary Brown Half Leather Bindings with 5 Raised bands to spines. Marbled Boards and leather corners. Gilt titles on Black label in one compartment, Gilt vol No. in another and blind tooled decoration in the rest. Page edges Marbled. Some rubbing to boards & edge wear. Hinges sound. Only an occasional spot of foxing. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. 1778 fifth edition. Complete set of six volumes, all in the original leather bindings. The spines have gold bands and pattern-stamps decorations with black and red leather labels. Several of the leather labels are missing. The spine leather has darkened a bit and there is the expected wear and rubbing to the edges of the spine and corners. Corners are rubbed and slightly bumped, but not severely. All of the bindings are tight and the text blocks are square, with all contents complete. Overall a beautiful set.
