Translated from the French by Frank Davison. Introduction by Allan Pryce-Jones. Alain-Fournier was only twenty seven when he died. This mysterious novel, 'Le Grand Meaulnes - the title being variously translated and here translated as 'The Lost Domain' - was first published in 1913. Not ex libris and packed and sent with care. Includes the Observer book review newspaper clipping from June 14th 1959.
