0. The Sixties. Text von Doon Arbus. Schirmer Mosel, München 1999. 4to. 235 S. mit 160 teils farb., meist ganz- bzw. doppelseit. Fotografien, Index, Kurzbiographien, Ppbd. ANTIQUARISCH.

Softcover. Condición: gut. 1999. Richard Avedon wurde am 15. Mai 1923 in New York City geboren. In deutscher Sprache. 248 pages. 32,4 x 25,4 x 2 cm.

Hardcover. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good+. First Edition. Paper-covered boards; in full-color illustrated dust jacket. Inscribed by Avedon on the front paste-down, to legendary New York restaurateur, Elaine Kaufman (1929-2010): "For dear Elaine, Across the years, Dick / 2000." Elaine's restaurant attracted writers, editors, journalists, film stars, film directors, poets, painters, musicians, CEOS, cops, and robbers for 47 years. She served dinner -- and hosted late-night poker games -- to Norman Mailer, George Plimpton, Nora Ephron, Kurt Vonnegut, and more, and when they hit it big, they paid her back. Her restaurant and home were filled with artwork, photographs, memorabilia, and books from her coterie of loyal patrons. Book is fine. Dust jacket lightly chipped and torn at corners; a little rubbed and wrinkled along the edges; rear panel faintly rubbed. Presents very nicely in mylar. A clean, bright copy, warmly inscribed.
