Hardcover. Condición: Poor. No Jacket. Limited Edition. The Montezuma Edition of Prescott's works was limited to 1,000 copies, 100 of which were allocated to England. These three volumes all marked number 44 of this 100. His works in this edition were in total 22 volumes, of which these are 5-7. Title pages indicate "and comprising the notes of the edition by John Foster Kirk". All ex library with number of stamps and manuscript entries in each book. Volume 1: xxxv + 314 pages; binding loose with small split in front end papers and major split in rear. Volume 2: xvii + 385 pages; binding loose, with major split in front end papers; label on spine chipped at one corner, with that piece missing. Volume 3: xv + 392 pages; label on spine chipped at one corner, with that piece missing; spots on top edge of pages. In addition to specific faults per volume above, all covers are bumped, frayed, worn etc; odd marks to text, some foxing; pages rough cut at production. Assessed overall as poor (maybe tad better). PLEASE NOTE ? This is a heavy item around 3kg when packed) but postage/shipping within UK is included in the indicated pricing for 3-5 days shipping time option. For an order outside of UK or an order within UK for 1-3 days shipping time option, however, we will be asking for an additional contribution towards shipping costs.
