The boards and spine have minor shelf wear with blind lettering on the spine (period morality) and pristine muted gilt lettering on the front board. There are tears of the cloth at the front spine both upper (1 1/2 inch) and lower (1/2 inch). The front gutter is completely cracked and loosening front board, but the block is completely tight. The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. There is minor toning on the end pages. No dust jacket. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark.
