This American actor, an AIDS victim at age 40, became popular in the 1983-84 sitcom "We Got It Made" and also appeared in such films as "One Crazy Summer," "Heartbreak Ridge," "My Girl" and "Popcorn." Huge signature in blue marker on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, below which he admonishes "be brave, / be kind," n.p., 1990 February 7. Fine. With original envelope. Rather uncommon, having died at a young age.

First Draft script for the pilot episode of the 1983-1988 television series, "We Got It Made." Mickey Mackenzie (Copley) is a girl in her early 20s who applies for a housekeeping job in Manhattan. Her employers are two bachelors, David Tucker (McCoy), a conservative attorney, and Jay Bostwick (Villard), a liberal salesman. Both bachelors have girlfriends who are skeptical of Mickey, but eventually they come to accept her as a friend. The show was canceled after less than a year, but was syndicated in 1987 and, again, was canceled after less than a year. Blue and orange MGM titled wrappers with die-cut window. Title page present, dated March 7, 1983, noted as SECOND DRAFT, with credits for screenwriters Garr and Farr Brao, noted as production No. 1308-001. 46 leaves, with last page of text numbered 45. Xerographic duplication, with photocopied hole punches. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with two gold brads.
