Condición: Near Fine. Illustrated, A. Fraser-Brunner Ilustrador. First Edition. First Edition. Bound in full leather, gilt illustrations on front and rear covers, gilt titles on spine. Minimal wear along the extremities and corners. One of 100 copies, numbered in ink on the copyright page: "This is No. 4 of an edition limited to 100 Copies." Illustrated with color plates, decorated endpapers. Beautifully done, this limited edition in leather is quite scarce and seldom appears on the market. It is one of the most important volumes on Game Fishes and is essential to Ernest Hemingway collectors as it contains the first appearance of "Cuban Fishing" by Ernest Hemingway. (Hanneman B47). Hanneman lists this as ". limited edition of 100 copies. issued in blue cloth." The trade edition is in blue cloth, but the limited edition of 100 copies was issued in full leather. It is probable that Hanneman did not examine this limited edition. Illustrated with color plates by A. Fraser-BrunnerAcetate cover for protection. Very few copies have surfaced in the last 10 years and few before. Scarce and desirable.
