Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - Mit diesen drei Etüden wollte Bartók 1918 ganz gezielt einen Beitrag zur Neuen Musik leisten. Die erste Etüde ist eine Art Super-Allegro barbaro mit motorischer Vehemenz, die zweite erscheint mit ihren perlenden Klangkaskaden wie eine von Claude Debussy inspirierte Elegie. Die dritte hingegen lässt Arnold Schönbergs Einfluss erkennen. Dessen 'Musikalische Privataufführungen' in Wien gehörten auch zu den wenigen Gelegenheiten, bei denen dieser - für Ausführenden wie Zuhörer - höchst anspruchsvolle Zyklus Bartóks in den 20er-Jahren gleich mehrfach aufgeführt wurde. Die erste Auflage der 1918 bei der Universal Edition in Wien erschienenen Erstausgabe war so schnell vergriffen, dass bereits 1921 eine zweite erschien. László Somfais Urtextausgabe beruht auf dem Notentext der Bartók-Gesamtausgabe und liefert neben einem spannenden Vorwort zur Entstehung auch interessante aufführungspraktische Hinweise. 25 pp. Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch.
