Light edge / corner wear, spine ends bumped otherwise all intact. Cut edges tanned. Clean black endpapers. Text block age tanned throughout, couple of small tears, text clear. 12 fine b/w plates including frontispiece. Binding pulled in places but overall firm.

Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
