First Edition. aged, discolored end papers; slightly shaken textblock is also slightly aged, otherwise clean and fairly tight; the very sunned spine was once a medium blue and is now a somewhat light brown, but leaving the gilt titling with good contrast; decoratively embossed boards lightly rubbed and shelf worn; all the color plates are in excellent condition, and protected by onion-skin overlays; 267pp., including index. This copy is VG. No DJ. Spine is faded , but gilt and green decorations still bright. Front coveris sun faded to the cloth but decorations and gilt still bright. Rear cover is faded where adjoining book did not cover.Spine ends moderately crimped. Interior is unmarked ( save for neat PO signature on FEP), clear, and minimally toned. EPs are more heavily toned. Somewhat shaken by still securely bound. Rear EP starting. Color illustrations are brilliant.

One of 200 De Luxe numbered limited edition copies numbered 26. xii, 267pp. Approximately 11 inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, faded, bruised and small closed tears to the top and tail, colour and gilt decoration. Joints good condition rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards poor condition full cloth decorated in gilt and colour, very faded with loss to the colour and gilt, the paper is now like blotting paper, marks and darkened. Page edges good condition top edge gilt slightly darkened, some pages standing proud, rest uncut, tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges very good condition sound.
