Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. 4to. (27 cm.) 351p. Profusely illustrated with black and white captioned photos and several maps. Laid in is a photograph of three women mentioned in the book and a piece of notebook paper bearing the following inscription: "Page 324 tells of my Grandfathers family. My Fathers Father William Streeter and his wife and Their chidlren page 324. The photo appears to be that of the wife, Sylvia and the daughter, Mary and an unidentified woman. This book therefore apparently belonged to the great grandson of Victor Streeter. Green pictorial wrappers with a vignette on the front wrapper of a covered wagon pulled by oxen and escorted by two men carrying rifles. Three leaves loose from their perfect binding, wrappers ever so slightly soiled, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Washta, Iowa is located on the Little Sioux River in Cherokee County in northwestern Iowa.
