Chapters cover a Pre-Ordinance Summary; History of the Ordinance of 1787; The First Settlement of the Northwest Territory under the Ordinance of 1787; The Beginnings of Government; Growth of Settlements; Evolution of the Northwest Territory; and Significance of the Ordinance of 1787. A very interesting bit of historical information in excellent condition. Pristine internally but for foxing to pages 34-35; light fading to cover fore edges.
