Hardcover. Condición: Fine. An interesting item from John Fowles personal library. Signed by John Fowles "John Fowles, Lyme Regis, Oct 01" with his bookplate and a short type written comment to the end papers . A very nice example that has been signed by John Fowles to the half title page and the author on the title page ("For John and Sarah, Love From Jo"). Interesting comment on the book by John Fowles - "This seems a worth-while little book. It annoyed Sarah because of something that Jo said about the shop on page 100. She intensely disliked the word 'gorgeous' used of an art deco facade in South Street". Original blue gilt hardback in the original dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is in very nice condition, not price clipped and with very little signs of wear. The book its in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Internally clean and bright. Binding sound and square.
