Hardcover. Condición: Good. First Edition. A well loved set in the series in patterned paper covered boards and grey spine cloth. Most volumes have some tears, stains or small holes to spine cloth. Corners sharp, interiors clean and bindings solid. Individual volumes range from Fair to Very Good. Slipcase with paper title plate to cover. Well worn/rubbed with paper loss to edges/opening, a few splits and small holes/marks/fading - Fair. Please note: Due to the size/weight, addiitonal shipping may be requested, especially for overseas and expedited orders.

Five volume set with slipcase: 'Walter Gropius' by James Marston Fitch; 'Richard Neutra' by Esther McCoy; 'Louis Sullivan' by Albert Bush-Brown; 'Oscar Niemeyer' by Stamo Papadaki, and 'Eric Mendelsohn' by Wolf Von Eckardt. Slipcase split at seam on top, but books are in very good condition. Some fading to spines.

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Five volumes in slipcase. Slipcase is edgeworn, the paste-down label is heavily foxed, solid with no splits. The five volumes have sunned spines, otherwise in excellent condition. Gray cloth spines with gray paper covered boards. There is a red dot on the lower spine of the Gropius volume. Heavy set, will require extra postage.

Note - each of the 5 volumes in this set was issued as a stand alone volume in a dust jacket and the cumulative prices asked for the individual books is well in excess of the price requested for this wonderful set. These books were issued with no dust jackets in a slipcase. The books all have grey Cloth spines with very attractive, mottled grey boards. Each book is laid out in roughly, similar formats: Text, Sketches, Plates, Chronology, Bibliography of books and articles written by the subject architect, Bibliography of books on the subject architect, Index, Sources of illustrations. The books, 128 pages measuring 252mm X 185mm, are in fine condition except for the following minor imperfections as noted the Louis Sullivan book has a 12mm imperfection where the back board meets the spine near the bottom, the Eris Mendelson book has a 5mm imperfection where the back board meets the spine near the bottom as well as a 7mm imperfection just above the midpoint on the same edge. Collectively, minor issues on a beautiful and important set of books on some of the great architects. The slipcase is in near-fine condition. This heavy set will require additional postage.
