Internally very good; bookplate of William Wale to paste down, two fold-out maps of Hampstead and Marylebone; tissue guarded frontispiece etching; binding tight; some foxing to prelims and closed page edges but virtually none elsewhere; text clean and clear; top edges gilt; end papers black. A very sound copy.

Tissue guarded frontispiece from drawing by Herbert Railton and 2 folding street maps. Very Good. Boards are clean with straight spine and light bumping to corners. Foxing to first few and last few pages, otherwise contents are clean, unmarked and free from previous owner¿s names or annotations of any sort. Final map inside rear board is a little rumpled to the edge, however, both maps are unmarked and without tears or defects. A very good, solid and clean example of this quite scarce little book.
