Dust jacket in very good condition in plastic library. wrapper with 2 small white labels bottom of spine, irregular trim inside front cover. Inside of book it is all clean and bright with no marks or folds of any kind. This Historic and Educational Book: Birthright of Barbed Wire by Anthony L. Lehman is about the Santa Anita Assembly Center for the Japanese During WW11. The bombing of Pearl Harbor, on December 7, 1941, shocked all Americans and was tragic for more than one hundred thousand Japanese Americans living in California. The majority of these people were citizens-sober, industrious, loyal-had little bearing on vents when the ensuing fear forced the American government into the unprecedented decision to move them away the Pacific Coast and into concentration camps. 101 pages with original photos.
