.X,244,[1]p. With sketch-portrait. Contemp. half cloth. Title with neatly closed tear, last 50 pages with a tiny (1-2 mm) hole. One of two editions of the first Russian translation of Stirner's magnus opum Der Einzige und sein Eigenthum' (1845), the bible of individualist anarchist literature . Another edition dated 1906 appeared in Moscow, no priority known. *WorldCat locates 2 copies of our edition (Staatsbibliothek Berlin and IISH Amsterdam) and 2 copies of the Moscow edition (Staatsbibliothek Berlin and University of Bern). It was apparently popular in Russia at the time because more editions appeared 1907, 1909 and 1910.
