Birds of Saurashtra, India , by Rao Shri Dharmakumarsinhji, is a large, detailed treatise published by the author in Saurashtra and printed at the Times of India Press, Bombay. Fifty-three pages of prefatory matter are followed by 561 pages of text, including Additional Notes on the Birds of Kutch and Gujarat . The text is supplemented by more than a dozen maps and 51 plates of illustrations- many of them in colour. The book is approximately 8.5 inches wide, 11.6 inches tall, and 1.8 inches thick.
