Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. Riggs Wait Ilustrador. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). Uncommon little book. I'm forgetting the descriptive phrase for pages like these. The print is only on one side of the page. Each pair of pages is uncut at its top edge, so you can look inside and see that the verso sides are blank. It makes for a nice appearance. There is a frontispiece of a kind (it's on the page after the title page), a 'Sketch Plan Of Dogtown.' There are numbers beside each of the houses and to the right of the map is a list of the numbers with the corresponding names of the home owners. The story is composed in rhyming verse. There are five illustrations by Riggs Wait, quite nice. One is full-page. They are all in excellent condition. The book ends with a page titled Postscript, a letter to Kitty Parsons from someone with the initials E. R. W. The pages are in really nice condition. They are very clean and very bright. There are no creases. No markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the covers in the first few photos. While they are clean, they do have toning at the margins. There is a little crease at the tip of the front bottom corner. On the rear cover there is a whitish discoloration at the center. There is also some toning coming down at the center of the cover, and there is a circular shape just off the top edge which would indicate that there was most likely a sticker of some kind there at some point. There isn't any residue or anything like that. The book is a stapled binding. It is very solid. There are no binding issues.
