"The arrangement of cut flowers in every country in the world has been enjoyed from ancient times. In Japan flower arrangement is the art of setting plants and flowers, which has the moral doctrine, in suitable vessels and enjoying them as ornaments. Recently the number of schools of Moribana and Heikwa has sprung up as the result of the revived interest in the art of flower arrangement." VERY GOOD HARDCOVER, green silk covers, slightly darkened at edges, else a fine copy internally. Slipcase in good condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
