First edition. First edition. A paperback original. Author's first book of two books published. Hangman's House 16. Tiny closed tear to top edge of front panel, corners a bit "chewed" of a few pages along bottom edge, else very good, unread copy copy in pictorial wrappers. Considering that the covers on this book were never laminated with a transparent film for added protection, it is in remarkable condition. Hangman's House published very few paperbacks and mostly in 1946 with a total of eight titles published before closing.
